Well what more can i say . . . except a brilliant win by Australia. They were on the back foot as soon as the two English batsman made there way onto the pitch. Check out the Full Scorecard

With Collingwood making a double hundred (206) and Pietersen making 158, the English team posted a total of 551 for Australia to chase in the first innings

Australians opening pair failed once again but stepping onto the field Ricky Ponting. With a excellent 142 followed up with Michael Clarkes 124 gave Australia 513 only 38 runs behind Englands first innings total.

The end of the first innings came mid afternoon on the fourth day, and with only a day and an afternoons play still remaining the two teams had to decide how to tackle the second innings. There was only one thing one the Australians mind and that was that they can win this test match, and that they did. In Style.

With the series 2 – 0 to Australia, England could not afford to lose this test match. All they needed to do was bat for a draw.

But once again the magic of Shane Warne, 4 for 49 of 32 overs destroyed and stunned the entire England team. With the highest score by Strauss, 34.

England crumbled all out for 129, with a lead of only 167. With Australia only needing 168 runs to win.

Again Ricky Pontings Caption batting 49 and Michael Husseys 61* won the game for Australia with 6 wickets remaining

With the Ashes being a 5 match series, Australia goes to Perth with a 2 – 0 advantage and only need to win one more test match to regain the Ashes.
